BENEFITS

Key benefits of All-On dental implants

All-on dental implants provide a full, natural-looking smile in a shorter time frame than traditional dentures. They also offer a more comfortable and stable solution than removable dentures.

Improved Appearance

A missing tooth can make you feel self-conscious or embarrassed, negatively impacting your appearance. A single tooth implant looks and functions like a natural tooth, giving you a beautiful smile and appearance.

Enhanced Comfort

A dental implant is designed to feel like a natural tooth. Implants do not slip or move around in your mouth like dentures can, providing a more comfortable dental solution.

Improved Speech

A missing tooth or teeth can affect your ability to speak clearly and confidently. A single tooth implant can restore your speech to its original clarity.

No Maintenance Required

A single tooth implant will not need extensive ongoing maintenance, all you need to do is follow basic hygienic principles, and your implant should last you a lifetime.

Well, I'd gone to a couple other dentists and one wanted the moon. Another one said, oh, no, you don't need to do that. We can just put Marilyn bridges in and all this stuff. And it was like, I know my mouth better than you do. A friend of my husband's had his mouth reconstructed here. He was very happy. And my husband said, Try them. Dr Hannah was wonderful. Walked me through it and I said, "let's do it". He's very kind and compassionate. His whole staff is. They're wonderful. I don't cry like this, but when people are that nice. I had a full mouth reconstruction. I had terrible teeth due to terrible dentistry as a child, and then pregnancies. And I had an accident in Mexico and totally messed my grill up, so I had to get it done. And I'm very happy I did. All the front office girls, they're fantastic. All the dental techs have been wonderful. And Dr. Hannah oh, my God. Is just amazing. Terrific care, Beautiful smile now.

Well, I was a classic tooth abuser, a dental hater. I hadn't been to a dentist in 18-20 years. A long time. I didn't like them. So I didn't go and thinking that teeth would be nice. I was used to having no teeth, almost. I chewed them out. Then I said, okay, this is the way to do things is dental implants. I knew that. So I started looking into that. Dr. Hannah's ability to move back and forth. The communication, it was done with respect, and the office is done well. And so that was always a positive thing, the interaction between the various levels of skill and knowledge. I'm satisfied. Yes, it is a process, and the process is working well.

I highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Hanna. I did my research, you know, and Dr. Hanna had the best reviews. So, I came to meet them. The surgery started at 8:00 AM. They extracted 19 teeth and placed the temporaries - no pain at all. We were about to celebrate our 10th anniversary, my husband and I, and my teeth were in such bad condition. I used to smile, but always covering my mouth. The whole process was explained to us, and we decided to go for it. So, I got teeth - it was amazing. I could finally chew properly. My teeth were discolored. I had only one functional tooth for chewing - it was painful. My gums were receding. I have been coming here for cleanings and maintenance ever since, and everything has been wonderful. Now, I can bite into an apple or enjoy a piece of steak without any issues. I can't stress enough how much I recommend them - if you're considering something like this, I highly, highly recommend him. He's also a pleasant person. He's genuinely nice and always welcoming. The experience is just great. He's personable and a perfectionist in his work. He extends that professionalism to his staff as well. So, I definitely recommend him.

Implant FAQs: Your Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Can a single tooth be implanted?

Yes, a single tooth can be implanted. There are numerous benefits of having a dental implant compared to other tooth replacement options. Apart from resembling and working like a real tooth, a dental implant replaces a single tooth without compromising the well-being of the adjacent teeth.

Is a single tooth implant worth it?

Investing in a single dental implant is highly beneficial for both your dental health and the aesthetics of your smile. By choosing a single implant, you can protect and preserve the health of your surrounding teeth. Additionally, filling the gap left by a missing tooth prevents surrounding teeth from shifting out of place, a crucial benefit that is often overlooked. It is important to note that this benefit is highly significant and valuable for maintaining a healthy smile.

Is a single tooth implant painful?

Patients have reported that dental implants which do not require lifting the gum tissue are painless, with pain levels reaching only one to two after the procedure. In case of a small flap of gum tissue being lifted, the pain level may rise to three or four for the first night but subsides after that.

How Single Tooth Implants are Placed?

The process of getting a single tooth dental implant requires several steps, beginning with a consultation with your dentist. During this visit, your dentist will examine your teeth and gums to determine if dental implants are the right choice for you. If implants are recommended, the dentist will then proceed to drill a small hole in your jawbone and insert a titanium post into the gum.

Most of the time, the abutment and implant can be completed on the same day, helping you to walk out with a smile you can be proud to show off. After the titanium post is inserted, the dentist will attach the abutment to the post.

To complete the procedure, measurements will be taken, and a crown will be fashioned and placed over the abutment. With proper care, your single tooth implant will provide you with a comfortable and long-lasting solution that looks and functions just like your natural teeth.

What are the Consequences of a Missing Single Tooth?

If you are missing a tooth, you're likely experiencing one or more of the following:

When an individual is missing a tooth, this can lead to feelings of discomfort and a lack of ease when consuming food. This is due to the fact that the missing tooth can cause a disruption in the natural chewing motion, leading to difficulty in breaking down and processing food.

The absence of a tooth can lead to the displacement of the neighboring teeth, which can ultimately result in various dental issues. This can pose a significant threat to the adjacent teeth, even if they were initially in a healthy state.

Besides displacement, you could also experience bad breath or gum disease.

The absence of a tooth in your oral cavity can trigger your body's restorative system to initiate bone resorption, resulting in bone loss.

If you have a conspicuously absent tooth in a prominent area of your oral cavity, you might refrain from engaging in conversation, smiling, or laughing when you are around others.

All the points mentioned above will significantly impact your life and impede you from living your life to the fullest.

Why should you let a single missing tooth hold you back from life?
